Several advertisers had complained. Now Facebook is reacting and changing its advertising guidelines.

The dissatisfaction of many advertisers had been felt for a long time: some ads appeared on Facebook on certain pages or group pages that did not appear very serious. Plain Language: Many marketers felt their ads appeared on Facebook on pages that clearly focused on topics such as sex and violence. Facebook reacted to this and has now expanded the list of Pages and Groups pages that are not allowed to have ads. This comes from an entry in the Facebook Newsrooms emerged.

Everything should start on July 1. To that end, Facebook has announced that it will incorporate a new process into the workflow to determine which pages are unsuitable for ads. At the end of the current week, all ads that still appear on these pages should be removed.

At the moment, this process has yet to be done "by hand". Soon, however, a system must be developed with which pages can be recognized automatically. In this context, Facebook points out that this process will have no effect on the activity of the Zuckerberg network - but it is very beneficial for users and marketers.

Nowadays, you can feel that Facebook is vigorously tinkering with its ad settings. We recently reported that the Zuckerberg Network had reviewed their Ads Manager reports. The current approach will certainly have a positive effect on cooperation with advertisers.
