The star's account TikTok, Anna Paul, has been “permanently banned” in a move that has sparked outrage from her fans, with the 21-year-old claiming she was shut down because she is a sex worker.

The Gold Coast woman had amassed 1,2 million followers on the app before her account was deleted "in seconds" last Thursday.

Anna works as an adult content creator on OnlyFans where she makes money selling subscriptions to her X-rated content.

She also had huge success on TikTok where she documented her daily life in 60-second “innocent” vlogs every day.

TikTok confirmed to news.com.au that Anna's account had been "permanently banned" with a spokesperson saying the platform had strict community guidelines around sexual content.

“Our community rules make it clear that we do not allow content that commits, encourages or glorifies sexual solicitation or accounts that attempt to redirect traffic,” the spokesperson said.

“We will remove this content and these accounts as we work to promote a safe community environment. "

But Anna told news.com.au the videos were designed to be "inspirational" and didn't contain explicit references to her work.

“It was a shock because I had never received a warning before, none of my videos ever went against community guidelines,” she told news.com.au .

Anna immediately contacted TikTok on Wednesday who initially restored his account, but it was deleted for a second time on Thursday, with the social media star saying it was "gone forever."

“It's so weird, I don't know what I did,” Anna said.

“There are so many other sex workers out there TikTok that I just posted about my day, I just posted about going to lunch. »

Losing her account not only caused Anna to lose thousands of videos, but it also meant she was financially strapped.

“I was actually about to sign a contract with a brand to advertise some of their products in a TikTok She said.

“This is the first ad I would have done on the platform and now I'm losing money because I can't do it, I had to say: 'Hey sorry, I can't sign the contract anymore because that my TikTok left.

“So not only is it sad because memories of a year have been ripped from me, but my subscribers don't see my vlogs every day and now I'm losing money too. "

Anna's fans reacted with fury, saying it was an "absolute joke" that her account had been deleted, with one person even saying it showed that TikTok was “sexist.”

“Your vlogs were my favorite thing,” one fan wrote on Instagram.

“I already miss your videos, it was part of my daily tbh routine,” one comment read.

“I will deactivate and delete TikTok if they don’t fix this,” said another.

“You are literally radiating positive energy as to why you were deleted,” one person also wrote.

Anna said she appreciated the support, with many fans saying they would “delete TikTok » if his account was not restored.

“My followers are so upset, my followers are saying if Anna Paul doesn't get her TikTok, I delete TikTok, TikTok is cancelled,” Anna said.

Since starting Anna from the app, TikTok reached out to offer “support,” but didn’t say he would reinstate his account.

She has since created a backup account on the app to let her fans know what happened and also to speak directly to the tech giant.

“I did it yesterday and it already has 160 subscribers which is crazy,” Anna said.

“I'm going to see what happens. So honestly, I really can't get my account back TikTok, I don't know what I'm going to do.

“I think I'm going to have to change this name (of the new account) to Anna Paul TikTok, like a regular Anna Paul account, and start from scratch. »

Although Anna did not link to her adult subscription service, she did link to her Instagram account in her bio, which regularly directs fans to her account. OnlyFans.

Many of her videos showed her eating out and talking about her cosmetic improvements.

She was recently interviewed on Studio 10 who called Anna "one of Australia's most popular influencers" after surpassing one million followers on TikTok.
