A huge amount of data in photos and videos published on the porn platform “ Onlyfans suddenly appeared freely accessible on the Internet. Celebrity accounts are also affected.

Some photos show, for example, Hollywood star Bella Thorne. The platform is quite popular with celebrities, many influencers, singers, actresses and footballers frolic about "only fans". One of the most successful German accounts belongs to singer Mia Julia.

Bella Thorne has an account with Onlyfans. His files were allegedly stolen and illegally distributed.

Bella Thorne (here in August 2020) is said to be one of the people whose accounts “ onlyfans have illegally stolen and distributed files.

Not all of them offer sexual content or are not completely empty, some celebrities point out that they use the platform for a better and more personal exchange with the fans. And that gives them an additional source of income. Bella Thorne recently set a record: In the first seven days of activating her account, she raised two million dollars (approximately 1,7 million euros).

But how could the data be freely accessible in a forum? There are different theories for this. " Onlyfans contradicts a hacker attack and says that these are illegal copies. “This is a copyright violation that we will take action against. We protect our users' content, which has top priority,” a spokesperson said.

« Onlyfans »: Data Thieves Need No Hacking Knowledge

Great hacking knowledge shouldn't have been necessary either. BackChannel boss Aaron DeVera: “ Onlyfans has relatively weak content control mechanisms. So it shouldn't be a big deal for subscribers to download and upload content automatically.

The file containing the stolen data is reportedly located on cloud storage space rented from a California university. But they don't know anything about it there. (sku)
